You may recognize this breed as Blofeld’s pampered sidekick in the James Bond films, big softy Snowbell in the Stuart Little movies and fronting a certain cat food brand! You might imagine that such ethereal, fairy-like cats could be a little aloof - but you’d be wrong. Chinchillas are very affectionate and friendly, happy to be close to their humans. They are also inquisitive and playful, even into their more senior years.

The cobby cat has a long, dense, silky coat, comprised of a pure white undercoat with black tipping. The eyes are emerald green or blue-green, and the nose brick red.

Remember! All breed profiles are general and every cat is an individual.
