Norwegian's make wonderful house pets and are not at all aloof. Having evolved and adapted to survive in the Scandinavian climate, the history of the Norwegian has equipped the breed with keen hunting skills and a robust constitution that ensures they can pretty much cope with anything life throws at them.

The semi-longhaired Norwegian Forest has a large, long and muscular body. These cats sport a distinctive double coat and a long bushy tail.

Remember! All breed profiles are general and every cat is an individual.
