Tender meow
Mad moment mover
Fits and bursts quick speedy paces
Affectionate yawning smile
Stretching long long arching back forever

Lion-hearted
Quizzical gaze
Lazy and lengthy as
Summer days

Will you fish today
Eat or drink of cream
Spill your divinity or
Rest safe in Eternity’s dream?

Licking of paws
Sharp-needled fangs out
Telepathic stare
A velvet-cushioning ball
A sleepy bundle

Awake moon -
Mouses astirring
At dusk napping ends
House loses appeal
Run for the shadows
Ghosts into the night
