Ralphi’s owner came up with the idea of strapping a camera to his cat, after Ralphi used to disappear for long periods of time. “I wanted to know where he’d been going so I decided to fashion a catcam, but a friend of mine found out one was on sale on the internet and so bought one for my birthday,” said Ralphi’s owner and creator of www.ralphicat.co.uk
Many of Ralphi’s shots seem to be of empty trees, apparently not much of a hunter, Ralphi seems to miss the birds. The next stage for the web savvy cat is to get a GPS transmitter fitted so that he can have a log of his adventures plotted on a map on his site. Ralphi’s success has even led to the creation of a fan group on social networking site facebook. To see some more of Ralphi’s photos visit www.ralphicat.co.uk |

A cat in Wales has become an Internet star after his exploits have been caught on a collar-mounted webcam.
The camera around Ralphi’s neck takes a snapshot image every few minutes and stores it on a flash drive, which is later edited and uploaded to the website.
“I was worried about the camera being uncomfortable, but Ralphi lets me put it on everytime without a fuss and he only wears it for a couple of hours at a time.”
