On Sunday July 6, Cats Protection hosts their largest fundraising event of 2008 at Brighton Racecourse.

The Big Day Out is designed to be a day for the whole family, with the opportunity to enjoy a day at the races and raise funds for the UK's unwanted cats and kittens.

The event is centred on family activities with lots of children’s entertainment including some feline-themed performers, a fairground, pet’s corner and a children’s fancy dress competition.

“Big Day Out will be such a fun way of raising money for our charity, and best of all everyone can get involved,” said Cats Protection’s event organiser, Julie Sharp.

“We are really looking forward to working with Brighton Race Course and we would encourage anyone who is interested to come along and have some fun whilst helping needy felines.”
