Simon collected a Best Comedy award from Joe Pasquale at the British Animation awards

This sketch sees the cat scratching at the glass door to be let in, miaowing, throwing a ball, garden gnome, flower pot and himself at the glass and hanging from the door handle before his owner finally opens it.

He then sits outside for a while before deciding to enter. As the owner shuts the door the glass smashes.

Simon says: “Hugh has a thick black coat and will sit out in the rain. He can stand ten minutes before he realizes he’s getting wet. Then he scrabbles to get in and soaks everything!”
