Lynn I hope your brave daughter starts to feel better soon now she's had the procedure. Hopefully she will feel more comfortable without the metal causing a reaction. All the best to you and her and your family.

Hope things are a little better today for your daughter and you (is she able to take painkilers) Glad everything went well, and a good job it was done when it was before it got too bad with the reaction to the plate. just remember every day in every way it wil get better and better. (an old saying my old mum used to say to me).
Take care and let us know how she is getting on.

She has eaten today and hasn't been sick, so that's something. She is still in pain but has got to take codeine for a few days.
She slept right through from 9pm to 8.30 this morning so the rest has done her good. Going to get her a wheelchair tomorrow, so at least she can go out for a while.
