Tomtom update 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Not the news I was expecting really. He kept licking his leg abnd ended up getting an infection in it. Tomtom has been back to the vet today and he is paralysed down his back leg so he has had it amputated today. Devastating news to hear as we thought he would make a full recovery. Not to worry though I'm sure he will manage on three legs.

Oh no that is a shocker. Poor Tom Tom, what a sad outcome. Still as you say he will eventually get used to three legs. Albeit he will forever wonder what happened to it. Its so weird you can tell them. Strange for Tom Tom. Get well sonn. xx

Poor tomtom, hope he recovers from his op quickly. I think cats can manage just as well on 3 legs once they get used to it. He'll soon be running around again like his old self Im sure.

Poor Tomtom! As people have said, cats get on surprisingly well on 3 legs. A 3-legged cat used to live next door to us and I even saw it catch a young squirrel. It used to jump over the side fence all the time. I hope Tomtom is up and about soon.
