I have just got 'A Woman Needs A Man Like A Cat Needs a Bicycle' on my desk...is someone trying to tell me something??!! Anyway it's hilarious (we'll feature it in the October issue). My favourites are - Men are like blenders - you've got one in your kitchen, but you're not sure why. Men are like lava lamps - nice to look at, but a bit dim.

Lozzy I wish I could take some of Brett and the cats but he hates himself so much he won't let me I did manage to put that photo of him and Moomin on here a while back - of course he didn't know! Ruthie xxx

Charbie my boyfriend would never say he loves me more than the dog! Don't get me wrong I know he loves me the same and to be fair that's what I'd say if it was between him or the cats so I can't blame him really! Ruthie xxx

There's also some new research out that says there are a growing number of WACs in the UK. These are Women with Animal Companions, who have cats as child substitutes. So I guess the question now is cats v children???
