Can you give these long-stay cats their forever homes?

This couple of long-stay cats are currently in the care of the Cats Protection, and are searching for their forever homes...

Poppet from Cats Protection’s Macclesfield Branch (left)

10-year-old Poppet is a lovely cat looking for a quieter life in her senior years. She is a little timid at first but once she gets to know you she likes to be stroked and petted and will purr her way through a gentle brushing!

Poppet requires a special diet but is happy and well otherwise. She would be best suited to a quiet home with no other pets or children. If you live in the Macclesfield area and think you could offer Poppet a loving home then please contact Cats Protection’s Macclesfield Branch on 01625 801802, or visit the Cats Protection website.

Hazel from Cats Protection’s Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted Branch (right)

Three-year-old Hazel has had a bit of a hectic start in life but it is hoped that now is her time to find her forever home where she can feel safe and secure. She can be a little shy but doesn’t let that get in the way when she wants a little head tickle. Once she has got to know you, she becomes more relaxed and loves to sit and keep you company. When no one is watching, she happily plays with her favourite ball, that’s if she isn’t sitting on the windowsill watching the world go by.

Hazel needs a patient owner who will let her settle in, in her own time. It is thought that an indoor home with no other pets or children could suit Hazel, but she may like a little outdoor space to explore. If you live in the Hemel Hempstead area and think you could offer Hazel a loving home then please contact Cats Protection’s Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted Branch on 0345 371 1851, or visit the Cats Protection website.
