Cat Cafe to open Down Under!

With an influx of cat cafes popping up across the globe, it comes as no surprise that Australia's Capital City, Canberra, is getting a Cat Café.

All of the cats in the cafe are 'Kitty-Parliamentarians' - named after the Prime Ministers of Australia, Australian Governors General and ground-breaking Australian Federal Parliamentarians. These esteemed kitties are putting litter-wars aside and are forming their own government at the Capital Cat Cafe which is set to open its doors in September 2015!

As is the case with many of the cat cafes that came before it, Capital Cat Cafe is crowdfunding in order to help with the costs of fitting the purrfect premises.

The cat cafe will have a unique decor, with the walls being lined with the names of people from all over the world that supported and helped make the Capital Cat Cafe come to life!

The Capital Cat Cafe's Indiegogo campaign offers a 'Wall of Honour' Perk where for $20 AUD (conversion rates make it even less for many other countries) supporters can have their name, city and country listed on the 'Wall of Honour' for everyone to see fur-ever! All names will be at least half an inch in size allowing potential visitors to come and find their name and if they wanted to, take a picture with it, if they ever visited the Cafe.

There is only room for strictly 5000 names, so supporters are encouraged to get in quick, be part of history and put their paw print on Australia's Capital city, Canberra!

Capital Cat Cafe's Indiegogo campaign started on June 10 and goes on for 30 days.
