What's in this Issue?

On page 16, there’s ‘The Cat Who Stole My Heart’ which features three owners who share their incredible feline love stories. ‘A Love for the Ages’ (page 24) earmarks some historic relationships between people and cats — highlighting how the love for felines is ingrained in the human psyche.

We’re also looking at how this year you can show your love for cats in a practical way. The lead feature ’10 ways to help cats’ (page 10) gives a range of inspiring ways in which you could help kitties in 2021. From big commitments to changing our habits, there are loads of ways we can help the cats in this country. The feature just might spark something in you that sets you off on an exciting journey to give something back to felines.

While on page 40, there is a fantastic guide to what to do if you think you have spotted a stray or feral cat in your area. The experts from International Cat Care explain how to recognise the type of cat you’re dealing with and what you can do to help — even unowned cats can benefit from a bit of love.

There’s also a romantic short story, our hero cats series continues, and all the usual favourites — a real way to celebrate that ‘We love cats!’

To tie in with this month’s theme, we’re also offering you the chance to get your hands on the limited edition Valentine’s cat pin badge (right). You can buy one of these gorgeous mementos for just £5 — or £3.99 if you’re a subscriber — by visiting

Until next month,

Michael Hallam, Editor.
