Issue Summary

Noticed anything different about this month’s Your Cat Magazine? We’ve designed a new logo! The lead branding has been refreshed and we’ve included a playful little cat on there too. We wanted the new logo to reflect that the magazine is still a source of trusted feline advice but equally reflects that cat ownership is fun! What do you think to the new logo?

Noticed anything different about this month’s Your Cat Magazine? We’ve designed a new logo! The lead branding has been refreshed and we’ve included a playful little cat on there too. We wanted the new logo to reflect that the magazine is still a source of trusted feline advice but equally reflects that cat ownership is fun! What do you think to the new logo?

We timed the release of the new logo to coincide with the end of the free collector’s badge with each issue. We’re delighted that the badges have been a big hit with our readers. If you have missed any of the badges, do visit www.yourcat.co.uk/shop to see if there are any remaining to buy.

In this month’s issue, there is loads to enjoy but I am particularly excited about the lead feature, ‘The Cats of Westminster’ (page 10). We’ve heard so much about Larry and the other Downing Street cats, but we’re bringing you an incredible look from an insider. Someone who spent years working alongside these famous kitties and knows exactly what they are like. With politics dominating the news headlines, this feature is a brilliant look at the felines that are at the forefront of things.

My other personal picks this month are the new series ‘Hero Cats’ (page 24) and the ‘Less stress’ feature (page 40) about head bumping. Cats have done some extraordinary things to help human beings, sometimes not even realising they’ve saved or changed people lives. In the Hero Cats series, we’re going to be delving into these stories.

The long-running ‘Less stress’ feature is another brilliant read as it explains what our cats mean when they head bump us. I am fascinated by the idea that the more we learn about feline behaviour, the better lives we can share with our cats.

Thanks for your continued support for Your Cat Magazine. Through difficult times, our readers have never wavered — we’re grateful and will continue to deliver for our great community of cat lovers.

Until next month,

Michael Hallam, Editor.
