Angela Barton’s latest novel, ‘Arlette’s Story’, published by Ruby Fiction, is out now.
On June 10, 1944, the village of Oradour-sur-Glane in Nazi-occupied France was destroyed when 642 of its inhabitants, including women and children, were massacred by the German Gestapo. Arlette lives to tell the tale.
Angela Barton’s novel, about one woman’s struggle to fight back against the enemy to protect the one she loves, is a beautifully written, emotional debut and a reminder of the cruelty of the Nazi occupation in France.
We have five copies of ‘Arlette’s Story’ to give away.
