The Bluecat Cattery Ltd

The Bluecat is a luxury cattery set in the heart of Bedfordshire, within the picturesque village of Clophill. We know that our pets are more than just animals to us; they are an integral part of our family. Here at The Bluecat, we aim to provide the best care in a totally safe and stress free environment. With just 14 cat chalets, our emphasis is all about love, cuddles and play. By remaining small, we are able to dedicate more personal time to each of the cats in our care and ensure they have the best holiday when they stay.

About Us

The Bluecat opened in July 2016, and is owned and managed by Maxine Timmis.

Our aim is to provide your cats with a stimulating and relaxing environment, with the utmost in care and attention given to our feline friends.

The cattery is located on a quiet village road, in the heart of the Bedfordshire countryside, ideal for a feline retreat! It has been purpose-built, meeting all the latest standards for design and licensing.

There are 14 chalets which can house up to 2 cats from the same family.  Some of the chalets interconnect to create family-sized ones.

Maxine previously worked in clinical research for over 20 years but it was always her dream to run a small, luxury cattery. Maxine loves all animals, especially cats and has 7 resident cats at home.
