Cat Adoption

Cat adoption or rehoming a rescue kitten or cat is a wonderful thing. Not only are you giving a homeless animal a new home, but you’re also freeing up space in the cat adoption centre for another cat in need.

But, while there are plenty of well-meaning charities and cat adoption centres out there, you need to be careful that you’re rehoming a cat from a reputable source, where the animals’ welfare and well-being are top priority.

As well as ensuring that the cats and kittens in their care are well cared for and protected from diseases, one of the staff’s most important jobs is ensuring that the animals are well socialised so they’re used to the sights, smells, and sounds of a normal home.

So, if you’re looking into the idea of cat adoption, we have plenty of advice to help you on your quest to owning the perfect cat.
