Northumberland-based brothers Martin and Tomas Rosinski have appeared on Dragon’s Den, seeking investment for their Ai-powered cat flap.
The OnlyCat cat flap has a built-in camera, which can detect prey that your cat may be planning to bring into the house. Whether it’s a mouse, bird, vole, or even something bigger, the camera will identify it and automatically lock the flap to minimise the potential cleanup that the owner would have to do.

The cat flap means owners will not receive any unwanted gifts by temporarily locking itself when prey is detected. It also controls entry and exit times allowing you to keep your cat in overnight, if you wish, and intruder cats out. The camera function also provides videos of your feline friend as they enter and leave, and is app enabled by connecting to your Wi-Fi and the companion app. However, it will continue to work in the event the internet goes down.

“Our goal was simple: keep the freedom cats love, while giving owners back control at the front door,” said Tom Rosinski, co-founder of OnlyCat.
“OnlyCat is already the fastest-growing startup we’ve ever built. We’re building something incredible, we’re seeing phenomenal feedback from customers, and demand is growing rapidly.”

First launching via crowdfunding, OnlyCat has scaled rapidly and now boasts revenues exceeding £2 million. Though, Martin and Tomas will be entering the Den with the hope of seeking investment to expand to global distribution.
