A cat whose favourite haunt is his local Tesco supermarket has had his own house built by the entrance of the shop.

Three-year-old Frank has become a regular and much-loved sight to shoppers and staff at the Tesco in Werrington, Peterborough.

Frank’s owner Kyle Orange says: “Everyone in Werrington knows him. Everyone loves him.”

Frank now spends more time outside the store than at home so a local carpenter offered to build him a house.

Tesco team manager at the store George Pell says: “Frank’s a part of the furniture, he is forever coming into the store. The community has come together and built him a cat home designed just like Tesco and the store manager has approved it to go outside the shop.”
